FellsDOG Welcome Table
The Middlesex Fells Reservation Dog Owner Group participated again in the Department of Conservation and Recreation's Park Serve Day on Saturday, April 21, 2012.  We helped clean up the Sheepfold, including the designated off-leash area.  Devin Dobbins (right) greeted visitors while volunteers' dogs waited (for scritches) nearby.

FellsDOG thanks everyone who helped pick up trash and other things left behind at Sheepfold. Melissa Bennett, Mary Bransford, Robert Bransford, Phil Campbell, Devin Dobbins, Charlene Duffy Saulnier, Laurel Siegel, Chris Thurrott, Colleen Tutella, Alison Wahn, Kate Wallace and Marshall Wallace:  Thank you for cleaning up the Sheepfold and going Beyond the Call of Doody!

Special thanks to Charlene for her lovely calligraphy and making name tags, Colleen for making the flyers for our informational and organizational meeting on May 1, and to Devin (shown right at our Welcome table) and Devin Dobbins Photography for taking pictures of our work!

We also thank the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation for organizing Park Serve Day, an annual day of volunteerism at parks across the Commonwealth, especially the folks who supported the three Park Serve Day events at the Middlesex Fells:  Conrad Crawford, Director of Partnerships; Ale
Echandi, Natural Resources Specialist, Anthony Guthro, Regional Supervisor; Lynn Hildenbrand, Visitor Services; and Nick Vita.
